Review: After climbing at least 1600 feet in 3.6 miles on trail 293 we took a left onto trail 353. We ignored the sign that said it was not safe for bikes because I had heard this was a good route to get to trail 544. After the first 1.7 mile stretch that took us over an hour to hike through unridable scree fields, skinny trails across scary steep hills, etc etc, we decided to turn around rather than see what the rest of the 5 miles looked like.

Review: I like this trail quite a bit. A very gradual climb heading out but makes for fun on the way back. Keep going all the way to wolf creek for stunning views of the valley. Watch your pedals on the way back, quite a few rocks hiding in the weeds.
