Review: fun trail to get some mileage on in the Columbia, SC area. There are two more specific mtb trails that are a lot of fun and have good flow and technical features to challenge the intermediate rider. Lost Creek Trail loop was my least favorite trail section at the state forest as it seemed to have little continuity or flow(for lack of a better term). it was hard to maintain speed or any kind of rhythm on that trail. Trail signage needs replaced in some of the outlying trail areas as it has become unreadable due to weather. It is required to pay $5 to park in the main parking areas.

Similar Trail: Fort Benning, GA trai and West Point Lake trail near West Point, GA

Review: This is my home course so I am biased. You will find a lot of very good XC trails and a segment of very difficult technical trails (Spiderwoman). Trails are always being improved and the MTB/ trail running social life of this park is lively. Can be crowded on nice weekends and HOT in the summer but always a fun ride.

Review: This is a great track to train at! There's all types of terrain. It is a very fast track. Just keep an eye out for runners and dog walkers. Yes you can get lost. I won the 2016 SC state championship at Harbison! :)

Review: Great trail network and the Midlands trail is a blast. I only wish there was more signage as you can get "lost" quickly if you are new to the trails

Review: Rode with my two kids (9 and 11) and wife. Did the Midland Mountain trail and it was good but a little too much for the kids. Can't wait to go back

Review: Very good mix from fast and flowy to technical. Plenty of miles. Not to much elevation change.

Review: Pretty nice trail system. They have some work to do on certain parts to get them to drain properly. I didn't get to ride spider woman and a couple others due to rain 2 days earlier. Has some rocky bits but nothing too challenging, also some big pine roots. Shared with hikers so keep an eye out. It was a cold MLK Jr Day but still had a lot of foot traffic. I would ride these a couple times a week if I lived in Columbia. I made the drive from N Charleston. Probably would have been worth it if all the trails were open. A lot of pretty girls running and hiking so don't wreck or you'll be embarrassed.

Review: Very nice trail from what I have ridden so far. I did about 13 miles of the trails. The trails are well marked. I had a lot of fun. The $25 is well worth it for the annual membership if you spend a lot of time in the area. I feel like I got my money's worth already. The majority of the trail I was on today was single track with a few fire roads. There were a lot of hikers out today but they shared the trails with no problems. The best sections were spider woman II and the bluffs.
