Review: So... I decided to try this trail for the first time on the hottest day of the year on July 21st. I had a job in the area the next day, so I brought my bike along, and I do not regret that! Honestly, I'm not sure where the trail head starts, but I parked by the lake, and rode up the "Tree Trail" and found the "Creek Crossing," and dove right in. This trail is a challenge, especially if you are used to flow trails. A lot more roots, bumps, and climbing switch backs. But with great punishment, comes great rewards, as in long straight declines, and some fun drop offs. The heat killed me that day, I wasn't ready for 102 degrees and 87% humidity, but I had a blast. Will defiantly go out of my way, and try again. Cost 2$ for park entry, that gives you all day access. A nice touch is a bike wash station by the lake that you can hose off your bike, and muddy legs!
