Trail Description
About this trail
Starts on right hand side and is all pure sweet single track. It is technical and has many manmade stunts(rockgardens, log jumps) with bypass at each. The main feature is "THE CRATER". Which is a popular spot to stop and do some jumping and hucking. Opportunity to get sweet air.

Q: Is this a decent trail for a beginner? I've never ridden a singletrack before. Thanks! -drewman87

A: I don't know how old this question is, but from what I've riden of it (had to bail last year when I was there due to rain) it is very beginner friendly. If you run into anything that worries you, you can either ride around it, or walk around it. No shame in that for a new rider, enjoy!

Review: Good trail with some technical stuff to play on. Flow is not the best but very well signed.

Review: One of my favorite local trails. Great for beginners, but has several features in the 'expert section' in the first couple of miles that are challenging. This section can also be completely skipped if you don't feel up to it. No major climbing, but a good amount of scattered obstacles throughout the course, with lots of varied difficulty. Easy to follow as it is a loop.

Review: Awesome trail! Lots of different choices of trails, from beginner to more advanced trails. The trail crosses a 2 way path at many points, so you can make the ride as long as you want. Pump track and skills area near the end of the trails. Very little climbing, but there are some rooty climbs that are more advanced, and a few nice rooty decents.

Review: I liked this trail but I have been biking for years. My wife who has never done a single-track did very well, but I will say this is more of an intermediate trail due to the many switchbacks and roots while pedaling uphill. It is a great spot for trying your technical skills. But this should be a 5th or sixth time trail not a first time. The man-made stuff makes it fun. It is a slower trail due to switch backs and very little elevation.

Review: Really well maintained, some nice fast spots and moderate technical areas. Seemed to get pretty busy at 5pm, but worked out as my buddy popped his tube early in the ride and people were very helpful so we could squeeze in a few more miles.

Review: Excellent trail. I am in town for business and rode here based on a friend's recommendation. The trail is exceptionally well maintained and marked and I'm impressed because it's a City owned trail. I can't believe this little gem is less than a 10 minute drive from the busy area of my hotel in Novi. When I come back to this area I will bring my bike to ride here again. What I like about this trail is that I can see how it's easy to get a serious workout or just a more casual ride depending on your skill level or your mood.

Review: A blast to ride. In 10 miles it goes from skills track to cross country terrain and handling to flow. Extremely well maintained and marked, with various route difficulties clearly marked. An excellent ride for the beginner or intermediate rider, with a great deal of log piles, rocks, skinnines, and rolling pump hills to get your practice in! Not a great workout loop, I was barely breathing hard after 10. My only complaint is a lack of "trail zen", with the track feeling very constructed and unnatural, as well as being in clear view of the suburbs at many points! But I'm nitpicking, this is an excellent trail.
