There are 4 routes on the map at the Trialhead. Cub is 1.1 miles, Bear is 1.8 miles, Grizzly is 2.7 miles, and Polar is 4,9 miles. All trails intersect and each other. I recommend the Polar route.
Review: Have ridden this twice now on commute between Atlanta and Nashville. Pretty convenient from the interstate.
Good mix of hills and level areas. Rode the "Fast and Loud" trail which I think is pretty new. A good workout and a lot of fun. Several good, long climbs with accompanying fun, long downhills with many jumps/rollers.
My only complaint is that even though there is a good bit of signage on the trails they can be confusing since there are a lot of intersections, many of which are not labeled.
Review: I live in Dalton so this is my go-to-trail if I need to get a quick ride. It is great for beginners because there is a 4-mile loop that is wide, with the only obstacles being the occasional root garden. I also like that there are designated trail directions based on the day, and runners/hikers go in the opposite direction. There are 4 or 5 expert loops, each of which is pretty short with one exception, Fast and Loud. Fast and Loud only opened recently. Great berms, table-tops, good downhills, and long climbs. Rooty-tooty is another expert loop that is short, but exquisite. I only gave 3/5 because I can ride the entire trail system in under 2 hours - so I wish it was longer. But for beginners, it's a 5/5.
Review: There are 4 trail systems here from beginner to intermediate. They are not half that bad actually. I mainly gave it 3/5 because I don't like the way signage is set up. Other than that the trails are well maintained.
Review: You can make this trail system as difficult or as easy as you like. There are plenty of options to make a quick ride or an intense workout. The close proximity to the city makes it easy to access for Dalton residents. Altogether, this is my go-to trail!

Review: Came here today and I absolutly loved it! The trails are nice and smooth and you can really get a nice workout in! There are a few difficult spots but nothing to major! A great trail if you're in the area and looking for a fun afternoon!
