Trail starts at culvert under Ajo Way and runs in several directions after climbing out of the arroyo. Beautiful virgin desert trail. This area is very rocky.

Q: I could not find the trails. The topo map is useless to find the mysterious "culvert". Please let me know how to ride here. -arizonaglider

A: Take Ajo Way west from Mission Rd 1.8 miles to a tiny short road to parking. Culver is in wash to the south. To the north is many more miles of singletrack in the Starr Pass area. Also trail head off Irvington Rd but hidden.

Review: Riding through a Saguaro forest is probably pretty blasé for the local riders but it was a fantastic experience for us Midwesterners. Trails in this system range from beginner friendly to expert level. Other reviewers have already covered the specifics well.

Review: Hard to find the entrance to the area off of Irvington. Nothing is marked and many of the trails are adjacent to residential properties. I rode around a little bit and found several examples of recent human habitation. While many trails were evident I did not know if I was on someone's personal property. Given that this side of town is not the safest place to be on your own without a good knowledge of the area I did not feel safe riding along the trails.

Review: Very fun trail. It has some beginner trails (Camaro, Creosote and Cascabel), some intermediate (Bittersweet, 360 Vista, and Boulder Belt) and some advanced (Flight Path and parts of Boulder Belt.) There is are two trailheads along Irvington Road: Creosote TH and Cascabel TH. I actually parked in between them in a pull-off section. If you're going west on Irvington, they're right after Jamaica Way and right before Soledad Ave.

Review: Great trails and rides, including the Camaro Loop which actually has a wrecked Camaro you can ride over. Lots of options out here. The 360 Trail is steep but gives great vistas of the whole area. Ledgesurfer is also fun.

Review: 16 miles of trails. Several climbs and descents around desert hills. 4 ways to enter the area, trailheads on Ajo Way and Irvington Rd. For beginners take Ledge Surfer and Camaro Loop for little climbing. 360 Vista and Sunset Pass add tech and climbing.* Review edited 4/13/2011* Review edited 10/30/2012
