Trail Description
About this trail
With nearly 40 trails and 1,500 vertical feet of descent, the park has something to offer everyone. Riders new to the sport will love our machine-groomed trails to build confidence. Experienced mountain bikers will relish expert terrain with berms, jump lines and man-made features. Best of all, the entire park is serviced by chairlifts and shuttles, so you'll never have to pedal back up the mountain.

Review: One of the best gravity parks I've ridden. Green trail is a good warm up with a pump track at the bottom by the lake. I spent most of my time on the western slope where the trails are a little longer. The mountain has tons of other activities on it as well. Bike shop is well stocked with parts in case of a mechanical as well as a large fleet of rentals. One note, I had zero reception on the mountain, stop into the Old Spruce for wifi and a great beer selection.

Review: I was very impressed with Snowshoe's Bike Park! The Basin side has excellent tech sections, pretty much all the letter trails to the rider's right (A-K) will put your skills to the test. Sketchy as shit in the wet!

Even the green run "Easy Street" is fun and a good way to end the day. Sections M and O have really good tech bits too.

Unfortunately during my visit most of the Western Territory was closed because of the Pro GRT race. Ninja Bob, Ball and Jack, and Powerline were all open though so I rode the shit out of them. Missing Link is a great trail too. It's a black diamond, but there's nothing really big on it. It's just steep. Tons of berms though.

The backcountry trails at Snowshoe are also a lot of fun. Go check out the fire tower and take the 6000 Steps trail back down to Shavers Lake.

Review: Couldn't have been a better opening weekend! The trail crew really did a great job getting the park ready for summer 2016. Stop some wet seeping portions, but a few more dry days should take care of that!

Review: Love this place. Great place to test any type of riders skill. I recommend a good DH/Enduro Bike. I wrecked my XC/Trail bike. Recommend a full face helmet, and neck brace, knee pads and elbow pads. I wish i had elbow pads in my wreck. lol. I have the wreck on Youtube, Just look up SnowShoe Bike wreck, youll find it.

Review: Awesome. Many trails to ride and keep busy for an entire weekend. Groomed or flat out untouched raw, they have it all.
Negative was your in a locked location and everything is full retail and the food more so. WIFI SUCKS, HARD TO CONTACT your buds to hookup for runs.

Review: For those of us on the more all-mountain/trail side, this is a great place to hone your skills. We went on opening weekend (2015) and it was surprisingly not too packed. This park has smooth beginner trails up to professional downhill courses. I liked the rougher trails that had easily avoidable features while my buddy enjoyed the fast and smooth trails like Skyline and Upper and Lower Dreamweaver. Overall, a great experience and a bucketlist type trip for those on the east coast.

Review: Keep in mind that there is some single track on the mountain....not a lot, but the the XC people that visit its not all Downhill here. Ask the shop at the top of the MTN to show you a map.
