About this trail
The trail has minor ups and downs, anthills, a few small ramps to jump a lot of fast paced winding trails. Overall a fast paced trail. Recommended route orange or green trail. I'm not sure on the distance of each trail.

Review: Haven't rode these trails in about 10 years. Sure did miss them. Lots of fun. Trails were in good shape thanks to the GHORBA volunteers.

Review: The trail system in Memorial Park is amazing when you consider that the park is within the inner loop of Houston. The features are challenging and can give you a really run for your money. You can link several trails together and get a ride in. Be prepared to ride roots and sandy tracks. The roots are smooth which makes riding them a challenge. Some of my favorites trails are Green, Orange and he Tri-angle. Note that trails are shared with runners and walkers but that should not stop you from enjoying these great inner city trails!!

Review: About as good as you can get for an urban trail. Closed frequently due to weather, but these trails are frustrating when wet. Green trail is my favorite. Combine this with the paved Buffalo Bayou loop for a good 20 mile ride with as much elevation change as you can get in the swamp.

Review: Nice to have some trails in Houston and well kept in most places. But trails are very crowded and maps are long gone at intersections. I'd suggest Anthills and these if you need some variety.

Similar Trail: anthills

Review: Trail is often busy, but the quality of the trails is good. For the most challenging ride, go to the trail called the 'triangle.'

Similar Trail: Terry Hershey

Review: Great trails in the center of Houston. I will always ride them when in the area. Good flow on the network and easy access from major roads.

Review: Nice trail network of flowy, fast, and generally non-technical trails. Especially nice given the location. Be sure to check out the "triangle" trails between Woodway, Memorial, and I-610. They're the most technical trails of those open to bikes, and have a few actual (very short) climbs. These trails are often very crowded -- think about a night ride if you want extra challenge and no crowds.

Similar Trail: Terry Hershey Park (Anthills) or George Mitchell Nature Preserve (Flintridge)

Review: This is really great trail for what it is, being in the center of houston. GHORBA does a really good job with the up keep on this trail. The trail is divided into sections for easy, intermediate, and advanced. It is a great place to practice technical skills, just wish it were longer.

Similar Trail: Jack Brooks Park isnt as well kept up, but another good techincal trail in the houston area.
